LANsurveyor® from Neon Software is network management software for the Macintosh® which logically maps AppleTalk networks. The LANsurveyor map is used as the interface to perform several critical management tasks. LANsurveyor graphically documents the network, provides real time troubleshooting capability, and uses SNMP and other protocols to profile and monitor network devices. LANsurveyor has been optimized to run on Macintosh with PowerPC™.
The demo is a self-running tour of LANsurveyor which describes the product's key features and shows you how you can use LANsurveyor to manage your AppleTalk network. Below are system requirements to run the demo and instructions for the User Controls:
**LANsurveyor Demo System Requirements**
• 8 bit color Macintosh LC, II or higher
• 1.4 MB free hard disk space
• 2.0 MB free RAM (Can be run with less memory but performance may
be affected)
• 13 inch or larger color monitor
**User Controls During Playback**
Following the introduction, a Play, Pause, and Rewind (Rew.) button will appear at the bottom right of the screen. The Play button is automatically active (blue highlight) signifying the demo is in play mode. To pause at any time, simply click the Pause button. To resume playback, click Play. To rewind, click and hold the Rew. button until the demo rewinds to desired sequence and release; playback will resume automatically. To exit, hit the return key on your keyboard. This action will take you to the closing summary and after pausing a few moments, the demo will end.
